Hi there, I’m Alison Hood and I live about 200km from Perth, in the southwest of Western Australia on a beautiful bush block with my dogs and puppies (I breed Labradors).
I have always loved creating art and lately I’ve been having heaps of fun working with fluid acrylics. This fabulous medium has become a passion, and I am constantly learning new ways of creating what feels like ‘Magic.’ I love learning what the paint does when used in certain ways, such as when the consistency is changed or how the colours interact with each other and also how different brands of paint react in different ways. Also, how the rules change for each technique. It is a constant learning journey.

In many of the videos you will likely hear noises from my dogs as they all live in the house with me and share the main living area which is where I do my paintings. We live on a 100 acre native bush block, sharing it with Kangaroos, Wallabies, Emus and also, unfortunately, snakes.
I am a registered breeder of Labradors and love it when we have puppies.
